If you’re wondering about candle making glass and how you can make container homemade candles, read this article in full.  Everyone has ornamental glasses at home, and some of these are placed on display.  Some of the finer pieces get featured in living rooms, some are used in the dining table, and some others are left in storage to collect dust.  Most people who hoard glasses, bottles and jars have this problem.

Most of their collectibles get stashed away and never used.  If only you have the heart to hurl your collectible glasses away… however you can’t because these are ordinarily gifts from other people.  Here is a challenge for you… utilize these items as ornaments by exercising some inventiveness.

Instead of allowing your collectible glasses gather dust and turn into general clutter, hand them away as exquisite gifts.  So what can you do with these extra glass items in your attic?  It is a good idea to turn these glasses into gift items by simply using them to make container homemade candles.

The least complex container variety to make is shot glass candle.  You only need a small amount of wax and a short wick.  Beer homemade candles are amusing to make, but they require more creativity compared to shot glass homemade candles.  You will need colored wax and a longer candle wick for creating ale candles.

Wine glass and wine bottle homemade candles are the most romantic presents you can give on Valentines.  Without a doubt, using your old glass to craft pretty homemade candles is the way to go if you want to clear your mess.  Add these special homemade candles to your dinner table during a sports party.  Give them away as party favors.

You can use different color combinations to make the candle wax look like any type of beverage.  The more creative you’re, the more your glass candles will look like the real thing!  Here are some more tips for you if you want to use your collectible glasses for candle making.  Melt candle wax evenly, however never beyond its boiling point.

When the candle wax has turned into liquid, pour it carefully into the glass.  If you’re going to recycle old homemade candles, melt the same types of waxes together.  You can use wax crayons for coloring materials, however make sure to use crayons sparingly if you want your candles to be functional.  A large amount of crayon wax can reduce the heat or even prevent your candle from burning properly.

See-through glasses are best if you want to use colored wax.
Use appropriate coloring materials for your designs.  Use brown and yellow coloring materials to simulate the look of beer in a glass for your ale homemade candles.  Trim the wick after you’ve positioned it in the center of the candle and the candle wax has cooled.  Use thick glasses for making candles for safety.  Be careful not to use too fragile glass for candle making because the flame can shatter your glass.

If you are selling these homemade candles or giving them away as presents, add cautionary labels or stickers.  Don’t let the handcrafted candle burn all the way to the base of the glass.  Never let the heat come into contact with the sides of the glass.  Be sure to use flame resilient candle containers for thawing and pouring the wax.  Plastics should not be utilized for the reason that the hot wax can melt these.
